Introduction

We started our business in 1979 as “Business Translation Center” and have focused mainly on the translation of science and technology documents for 40 years since then. Our current company name “Diaz Inc.” was named after Bartholomew Diaz, a Portuguese explorer, who discovered the Cape of Good Hope at the southern tip of Africa. Like this great explorer, we are pleased to help our clients achieve their dreams and goals. At Diaz, we are constantly improving our skills in order to provide high-quality services with a can-do spirit.

We offer highly-qualified translation services

Diaz is not a universal translation company that excels in every field and language, and some fields are out of our area of expertise. However, based on our many years of expertise, we have know-how and confidence in the quality of our translations of technical documents, especially those related to intellectual property. Translation of technical documents requires the translator to understand the technology well and express it clearly in writing. At Diaz, we have translators with extensive engineering work experience, and the translations undergo a second, or even third round of stringent checks before they are submitted to our clients. For both Japanese-English and English-Japanese translations of patent and IP translation services, we have also acquired ISO 17100, the international certification for translation services. Our motto is “high-quality”.

Confidentiality

Information obtained from our clients and translators is deemed as highly confidential. All hardcopies are dissolved by a professional document destruction company, and the data will be deleted from our system after a certain period of time. We can enter into nondisclosure agreements even for individual projects.
